Students preparing to enter the first year of their Architecture education at Valencia or UCF must participate in a prerequisite "studio test." The application to take the studio test is available each year. The test itself will be provided to students, who will have 20 days to complete its creative and analytical questions. Results determine whether a student can enter their first semester Architecture courses. 

Those students who have already completed their Architecture prerequisites must participate in Pin-Up Review for entry into the junior-level program at UCF, which is limited to a certain number of students per year. Rather than a set of questions, Pin-Up Review is a collection of work from prerequisite classes compiled into a single cohesive project. Each year, the application to participate will open in January and close in February. The submission window itself will take place in mid- to late-April.
